@GoddersUK: The rights to the "Happy birthday" song I think is 99 years.
So everytime someone airs or sings the song at your table, someone is getting payed.
How rediculous is that!
What I am not saying is that you should be able to copy your Windows DVD and sell it on the market. That's copying an entire product. If you want, you could write down how Windows works, give it to same other team and let them build it and name it Linux, I really dont see the harm in that.
But to put a patent on something as rudementairy as the idea of mouse click or even the ide of a mouse, just seems silly.
