Join Tim Huckaby, Founder of InterKnowlogy and Actus Software, and Scott Stanfield, CEO of Vertigo Software, Inc. as they discuss the exciting new opportunities with HTML5. Scott is currently very involved in using Microsoft Silverlight to stream live sporting events like Monday Night Football, the Olympics, etc. The sophisticated engineering in Silverlight allows streaming for live sports that you can't currently do in HTML5, but HTML5 is catching up. A new announcement was made at the Build 2011 Conference of Microsoft Expression Blend producing HTML5 apps. To see a design surface tool for HTML5 is very exciting and presents many more choices for customers in the coming months.

Scott Stanfield is the CEO of Vertigo Software, Inc., a digital design and development shop. He is a frequent public speaker, presenting on software technology and design for the past 20 years. Before starting Vertigo in 1997, Scott worked at Pixar in Point Richmond, California, which happens to be the current home of Vertigo.
