A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of watching the top 6 teams from Imagine Cup 2006 present their innovations to a panel of industry experts. For two weeks, these 6 teams were provided with extensive training focusing on how to take their applications
to the next level: to market. This two week "event" is known as Innovation Accelerator and the purpose is to help teams understand and develop a business plan (of course, not all teams plan to "sell" their applications, but all of them were excited to learn
about how to present their innovations in a way that will appeal to business folks, like, you know, venture capitalists and the like).
Here, Joe Wilson, who's team runs the Imagine Cup, introduces the presentations (and concisely points out the meaning of the event).
