I love being able to go fullscreen then click on something on monitor #2 and
the video still stays fullscreen!
I always have tutorials running on one monitor in YouTube or Vimeo and when I use Ableton Live or something on the other monitor it keeps leaving fullscreen which is quite useless.
Hey, I just found a bug...
If I click on "Check" on the Google Toolbar to spellcheck the post all I get is an empty textbox. The google Toolbar spellchecker has always worked for me before.
Good video Charles! It was awesome to see Dan and Duncam crawling trough the buggs!
I have a question. The 'post coffeehouse thread' came up pretty late in teh cycle. Did it push back the original Launch Date for Rev 9 ?
The broken posting and IE9 issues necessarily came later.... I'd say the dev team has released a super high quality web application! Great work!!!!
C
Yeah, we didn't get IE 9 that much ahead of you guys but we have top men working on it.
Top. Men.
For the first time ever, I clicked through the site and came across the About page. While the impromoptu is great for the audience as I evjoyed this video, the look and body language says you missed reading point #6.
On another topic, I kinda jumpd through the Sampy video a while back and don't remember him mentioning how the new site is layered together; especially in regards to Azure. Asp.net talking to SilverLight pulling model data from Azure. Is the comment data, video data or both coming from Azure or is there a hybrid thing happening? Also we can see that at least the test the code is in C#, but from the bio as Sampy has VB internship, is there a mix and match of code elsewhere? Any funky F#?
Dan also spoke about performance and reliability, I'm curious (if your allowed to tell), what were the options you considered other than Azure? Also is it only the SQL Azure part?
A video of Charles walking down halls, knocking on doors. How nostalgic.
Many thanks for the language filter. You guys rock.
I don't follow. In what way did this interview break our 6th doctrine rule?
Did you actually watch the Sampy interview? The answers are in there.....
C
@Charles: "6. Don't shock the system. Lasting change only happens in baby steps" The "oh...goody" look on Nic's face, the well guarded grimace on Laura's and the "He's actually coming in!?!" from Tina was classic shock. I wonder if there will be a few more locked doors from now on?
Sampy interview: Unfortunately not in full, but I will go back and watch. Thanks.
Just keeping it real. It's good to walk in on folks. Captures the real.
C
Thanks a lot of, very much.
