Javier Martinez is a research developer for Spain's telecom giant Telefonica. He and team developed a WCF-based router configuration system used to set millions of routers remotely over a custom WCF channel they created. Javier and team have done some really innovative work with both WCF and WF. Watch the video to learn exactly what this means...

Our own Catherine Heller conducts the interview with me, which is done in both English and Spanish. This is a new way of doing multi-lingual interviews on Channel 9: Real-time conversations do not include subtitles running below people's heads (at least not any I've been in), but they often contain real-time translation by a person who speaks the languages spoken in the interview. I'm experimenting with this approach and you will see more of these types of interviews from TechEd Europe 2006.

Stay tuned for Dutch, German, Croatian and more Spanish interviews from TechEd 06, all with real-time English translation by a human taking part in the conversation.

Yep. I got a lot of stuff from TechEd and will be releasing it over the coming days and weeks. It was great to meet so many people who knew about C9! Also, I finally caught up with Team Italia and Team Norway from Imagine Cup 2006 (didn't get to them while in India this summer, but luckily they were at Tech Ed!)

Nope. I didn't run into anybody from MS Austria (actually, I think I did, but got no greeting from LittleGuru...Probably more than one MS Austria person there...). Oh well. Thanks for the greeting!

I did sign a few 9 Guys, though. That was cool! Even though I spend most of the time behind the camera, people did in fact recognize me
