Recently, Microsoft and UGS announced a new business partnership and strategic alliance. What does this mean? Well, for one thing, it means that UGS has direct access to the brains behind the products they rely on to conduct their business successfully. Of course, this interests Channel 9 (not that the business stuff doesn't, but we like technology here)

In this interview, you will meet David Mitchell, Vice President, Technology Officer, UGS, and SQL Server development lead and query optimization guru, Conor Cunningham. Also present as moderator of the discussion is Abel Cruz, a Program Manager in the ISV division (the business guy). We talk about the implications of SQL 2005 on UGS success as well dive into other technical aspects of the UGS/Microsoft alliance.

This is a frank and open discussion with an enterprise customer who relies on our platform and technologies to be successful.
