that's awesome! what you gonna do when windows logo changes ever so slighty again?

Wait wait wait. So did they actually get tattoos or was it fake? I only ask because everyone got credited (including the tattoo artist) and because of the way the video was made.

Even if not, that was a very nice looking tattoo.

I actually expensed it to the Marketing guy's cost center. If they change the logo BEFORE we ship Vista I'll just expense the touch up as well.

It's real, I had it done about 4 weeks ago during a slow Monday afternoon.  The tattoo was done at http://slavetotheneedle.com.  I'm glad you like it but then again you have to say that.  Rule #1 You never tell someone their tattoo looks bad, it's like calling their baby ugly.

Whether Vista is successful or not isn't the point. The point is that he was part of the team and it's a reminder of the job he's done and probably spent huge amount of time on.

Why not just hire someone (main requirements: no pre-existing tattoos and you must sign The Waiver) as a product evangelist whose only purpose is to get tattoos of MS product logos whenever they update?  Pay them ~40k a year to just get tattoo'ed and allocate $300-ish per tattoo x 10/year.

Why the tatoo is only black, I'd like to see more colorized tatoo, whatever, you are very brave, it hurts, huh?
