Will it, or can I import my PST file?

Can it "Save as web page" your calender in an automated fashion (e.g. Every time you exit Outlook)? Answered but don't like the answer I got.

Have they removed "Plain Text" from the Outlook editor? Does it only support HTML messages now?

Interesting, how do you see whether your banned or not. I also made a sexist remark about a person in a video once and my post was removed. It was the video on code snippets in visual studio. Could it be I am banned then?

The comments are at worst a very tacky way of saying an individual is attractive but should be seen as a complement. That said, they should be deleted because it's all about the technology right? So I promise my next post will be about the technology. Smiley

Being able to access all your mail/calendar/contact information from a browser is totally flexible and useful.

Obviously not everything can be done in the browser, alot can be done though.

Smart women are far hotter than hot women (did that make any sense?), geek girls (and game girls) too. None of which has anything to do with the comments made here.

We are not posting on some gaming site, or other "boys club" and although C9 isn't exactly an internal forum there should be some level of peer respect. Even if you think a thought about the professional in the video (male or female) it really isn't necessary to post about it.

Apart from the fact it adds nothing positive to the discussion, it also is disrespectful to anyone who is trying to make a 'serious' point.

It is almost like saying -- "Shut-up and dance for daddy." -- It shows that level of disrespect in my opinion.

The 'jessica on vacation' on the calender at the sharepoint server, is it planned to get this like 'ajax style' so you see it updating while reading the calender? So I know it at the moment it is set and don't need to refresh to see if she is availible at a timeblock.

What happends when I send a calender outside (the non outlook users part), with the html calender true email, does it gets updated in some way? So when I retrieve the html calender and read the invitation 2 days later, I am able to pick a time which is actually still availible. And not need to pick a few before I am able to have a free slot.

Like if I was your client and you send me one of those mails, and for some reason I am not able to respond directly. When I got the time to read mail, I expect you send me the thing with the current state. It comming true a dynamic channel not true a static (paper) channel.

I see a tabletPC in the background, are there any improvements specialy for the tablet?

In all older versions of Outlook when you have a lot of folders with a lot of messages, switching between those folders hangs Outlook sometimes. I have this on 2 PCs of mine, also on my clients PCs. If you configure IMAP without SSL it is ok, though.

This stopped being a complaint for me the day off.ramp ceased being offered via NNTP. Perplexed

If I were to keep up with Usenet, I think I'd use Google Groups to create an RSS feed and watch it in Outlook 2007.

No, it's not the way OE does newgroups, but I sure have gotten used to RSS feeds as a way to keep me aware of an unbelieveable amount of information across an embarrassing number of topics.

Think I'll give this a shot to see how well that works.

I installed Beta 2, and unfortunately the Domino Connector from Office 2003 does not like to work with 2007. Sad

I don't see Notes listed as a possible MAPI provider in the App config.

I know it's beta, so I'm not surprised, but curious if there is something in the works Smiley

Questions:

1.   Do you need the full Office suite to use the benefits like previewing PowerPoint slides or Excel spreadsheets sent as an attachement?

(Seeing one can get PPT viewer and so on, would be a neat feature if this is built into Outlook without buying the program)

2.  Do you need Office 2007 or can you still use Office XP say and buy Outlook 2007 seperately?

3.  If yes, will you have two Outlooks on your machine (XP/2007)?
