We started talking about Windows Azure at Microsoft's Professional Developer's Conference in 2008. Over the past 12 months we've listened to the feedback from the technology preview programme and we're launching Azure at PDC 2009. Watch and see how you can use it in your solutions. Learn about the benefits of building in the cloud and when and why it makes sense to businesses of all sizes. We'll take you through the announcements from PDC 2009 and walk you through some samples showing how you can get started taking advantage of the Windows Azure platform.
Some of the topics we'll cover include:
• Architecting for the cloud (including some lessons learned from early adopters)
• The End-to-end experience including tools, debugging and deployment.
• The Windows Azure portal, including reporting and billing.
• How to develop Azure applications with PHP and native code
Presented by NZ Microsoft Developer Evangelists, Mike Zeff and Ryan Tarak.
