Defrag is a new series Nic Fillingham and I will be bringing you to look into murky subjects that need sorted out. We'll put the bits in order and tell you exactly what the story is. In this episode we look at multitouch in Windows 7. What are all the multitouch gestures? Will there be more? What is Microsoft's thinking behind multitouch? How/when will I see multitouch on my desktop? We'll answer all these and more.

This video had a high pitch hissing sound in the background when I was watching it. I don't know if it's just my machine, but no other videos I play do it. You guys may want to check the audio of the video again.

I'd love to see someone using audio software like Ableton Live 8 with multitouch in Win7. Right now you can use a Jazzmutant Lemur or Dexter to do it but that involves using a whole separate device.

I can see someone building themselves a Lemur-like device out of a Win7 tablet and Bome's Midi Translator/Midi Yoke.

Open Labs seems to be planning to use Win7 in their audio production machines soon.

Good job. That was great.

We would like to see a Defrag episode on Defrag and the return of the visual indicator (we are hooked on watching moving blue blocks! Better than TV!)

(The video is kinda glitchy).

Your last key board tip also works for other Task Bar application in addition to Outlook.
