This year, at MIX '11, we debuted the first annual Niney Awards. The goal of this celebration was to honor the Channel 9 community and have that community vote for the winners that they feel best deserve an award. There are guest appearances by all your Channel 9 favorites like Scott Hanselman, Scott Guthrie, Joe Belfiore and TONS more. Sit back and enjoy the show!

Congrats to all the winners!
Ah, the memories...
I'm finally in a Channel9 video.
@Bas: I have to say that was an awesome night all right.
Got to meet a ton of intelligent and interesting people, hang out all night with Charles, Michael, Paul, Nikita and Bas (the other Niners got separated or crashed early due to jet lag or having to work in the morning)! I want you all to know I loved every minute of it, and I'll look back at it all as one of the greatest experiences of my life. Bas: It's still a win ....
Special thanks to Laura, who is as awesome in person, and who had the idea in the first place. I <3 Channel9!
I finally got around to watching this yesterday. A bit cheesy, but considering that its the first Niney Awards, hey, that's to be expected. Over all, I really liked it! It introduced me to other podcasts and blogs that I wasn't aware of and will check out. I hope this continues.
