Blood Elves, Paladins, Gnomes and Sorcerors all gathered last night for the long awaited release of World Of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King. The game hits store shelves today but the party was at GameStop last night in San Francisco. All the WOW'ers came out for face painting, dance contests, giveaways and some good old fashioned comraderie. I joined in the fun and sported my best chain mail attire- take a look!

2 Blood Elves and a female Draenei, what a surprise...
Love the hair! But no Nightelf dance? For shame, Laura, for shame.
I decided sleep was more important than a midnight queue (happens when one gets older) but picked up the expansion last night, and I'm off to the Howling Fjords.

Awesome, Laura. You look amazing with long violet hair. You might want to give that look an extended try. I considered attending the Litch king launch at my local Gamestop, but my work hours were all over the place this week, so I ultimately abandoned any attempt to go. Besides, there are so any amazing games out right now that it will be awhile before I even make it out to Northrend.

I agree with Dengin; next time I want to see your night elf dance!
