I'm not an artist, but this looks quite impressive and fun to use.
Very impressive demo. For the first time, it looks like I could really "paint" using a pc. I have used most all programs and tablets.
As a designer and artist, may I be involved in the development/testing of this application?
Thank you for considering it.

Will we ever be able to get it in our hands?
ı am not an artist!!!
This looks fantastic. I just hope Microsoft will make this available to the public some day.
Beautiful. It would make a lovely core to a "Expression Paint" product. I'm just saying, the bitmap tools in 'Design are rather basic...
What kind of hardware/tablet is used?
I am an artist and I'm intrigued by Project Gustav, but what's the quality like when printing? Even if you're printing on canvas, the end product isn't going to be anything like an original oil painting. I'm also curious to the color mixing ability. I'd love to test this. I'm located in Seattle.
I am an amateur artist. Currently I am trying out ArtRage, but I too am really intrigued and amazed by Gustav. Can we somehow/anyhow have a preview version of this for testing, till you guys come up with the actual product?
Great Job!
I hope some day you create a calligraphy pen that responds just like a real calligraphy pen. I blogged about this video on my calligraphy artwork site:
