Hey Niners, don't forget that the pilot episode of Help Desk with Chris Pirillo will air today at 2PM (Pacific Standard Time) right here on Channel 9.
Head to http://live.ch9.ms (requires Silverlight) to watch the show live. We'll have the show available on demand shortly after the broadcast.
To be a part of the action send us your Windows PC questions via twitter @ch9live or email ch9live(AT)microsoft(DOT)com
And of course please let us know what you think of the show - we need your feedback to improve the format and make Help Desk a great addition to the Channel 9 Live schedule.

Thats GMT - 8 hours if it helps the rest of the world.

So Nic's laptop if full of software we aren't allowed to see?
I think Chris needs his own computer so he can mess with it on air without fear of NDA stuff.
Channel 9 support localisation allready (buttons in my native Dutch language) why not use that to support timing info?
I always hate it when live post I have to look up the time in my country. You oviously know where i am, please tell me my time (and do it in 'military time'). A 24-hour clock is very normal in Europe.
I showed up late (gosh darn).
Got to agree, why was this hardcoded as PST, is C9 not aimed at a global audience?
It would be relatively easy to post the time in multiple time zones, or at least in GMT, but the time is just text in a part of Nic's post so C9's awareness of your time zone isn't really involved. We'll make a point of listing the time in more than one location in the future.
2 PM PST = 5 PM EST... Was on my way home so can't catch the live event. Wish next time can be earlier if possible.
This is all great feedback - we tried to pick a time that would work across as many timezones as possible... it's not an exact science though.
If you have recommendations for WHEN we should broadcast again please let me know... is there a best practice for most globally accessible time slot??
Re hard coding the time to PST - my bad. Will list GMT next time as well (pun intended).
Great potential here. Nice work all! Looking forward to the next episode. I have a few questions
C
Come on post the video already!
I was waiting for the live broadcast but I fell asleep 30 minutes before it started:) (at 00:00 Bulgarian time)
Please do the next one in early morning hours PST (i.e. 9am), this would still fall within business hours for both EST and GMT. Thanks! Eagerly awaiting the replay...
6pm GMT next time?
It's never going to be possible to find a timeslot that works for everybody, but at least listing more than one time zone would be appreciated.
It says today but it was posted yesterday.
It would be 23:00 hours for you, CKurt
