All I can say is Holy Crap! This piece of software is simply amazing.
I'm not sure if it's the
first application to perform such a task (although I wouldn't be surprised if it is) but
Microsoft Research Group Shot can take the best parts from multiple photos and combine into the "perfect" group shot.
Don't you hate it when you get several attempts at a group photo at a party or family gathering and each one has something slightly amiss? Maybe your brother has his eyes closed in one shot and your Dad is looking away in another or your best friend decided to sneeze just as the photo was being taken...
With
Microsoft Research Group Shot you can take the best parts of all of these photos and thanks to (what I'm sure is) some pretty fancy, head ache inducing algorithms, combine them
very easily to create the perfect group photo.
Check out the
screens shots for more info - Simply amazing!
Oh and did I mentioned Microsoft Research Group Shot is a FREE download of only 1.3 MB? Well I just did - so go download!
(And yes I know the application was released back in September but I've only just found out about it so I'm excited)
