So you want to use Team Foundation Server… but how do you get all of your existing data from your current source code control or bug tracking system over to your shiny new TFS server? That’s what the Team Foundation Server Migration Toolkit is designed
for. Matthew Mitrik, Program Manager for TFS Migration, talks about the tool his team is building which will help make it easier to migrate to Team Foundation Server.

Update: The original title + description for this interview was accidentally swapped with that of another upcoming interview. This has now been corrected.

Did you try the "Download" link instead of the in-page player? For this series of videos we were playing with a 16:9 format. I agree that it probably looks worse in the in-page player but please check out the Download link and let us know if it's any better. We're still tweaking...
Thanks -

That's a popular request.
This is definitely something you could build as a provider for the TFS Migration Toolkit that Matthew described in the interview. We expect that this will be one of the first providers that gets built by the community once the Toolkit is released.

This will also be the location for the final release once it's made available. Be sure to log your feedback at the CodePlex site if you have any suggestions or bugs to log.

Hey I am new to this TFS. Could anyone please guide from where to start as I want to learn and master this amazing technology. Thnx in advnce
Ditto what Sheirkhali says. This interview, while interesting in itself, would probably have been more beneficial after there was something to show, rather than vague plans, understandable since the product is in development now. Overall these interview have been very helpful though. Nice job.
