Congratulations to the French team. They were named winners in the Imagine Cup competition.

It was a long road to Brazil for the teams. More than 10,000 students competed to be invited to Brazil.

Think our future isn't in good hands? You should meet some of the students who competed in this year's competition.

For the video you're looking at here we interviewed the team at Microsoft who organized this event. Morris Sim, Mario Jobbe, Shreyas Vijaykumar, and Michael Heinrich share some stories behind the competition.

The Spoke has Webcasts posted of various Imagine Cup events.

The Imagine Cup team has been shooting its own video. Day one just was posted on Channel 9.

We hear teams are already getting prepared for next year's competition, which will end up in Yokohama, Japan.

As unfortunate as it may sound i had to cut this video half way, the accents were too irritating.

Moofish, what couldn't you understand? These guys don't have much of an accent at all. At least not to my Redmond ears.

I loved the video! What a great way to get young talent together, both locally and internationally! I find myself jealous of their talent before I've even seen their work! I'd love a copy of the app for
Schizophrenics! It sounds brilliant! I hope that some of the apps from the challenge are made available for public review.

Imagine Cup Rocks!!! I hope this gets bigger and more public next year!!! Its the Geek Olympics - except some of the creations from these Olympians could change the world.
