Over the past year I've given the original Guitar Hero some serious well deserved props.  I had a chance to play the original before it hit store shelves and once I picked up that guitar I knew I was hooked.  I bought more guitar hero bundles as gifts for friends and family then any other game in history.  Over the past year I also became friends with John Tam.  The executive producer for the game who just happens to be one of the most modest guys in the industry.  With Guitar Hero II preparing to hit store shelves in early November I knew it was time to make him a visit.  So I packed my Panasonic DVX100 hopped on a plane and made my first official visit to Red Octane.  Audience meet John, John Audience.   And let me introduce you to Guitar Hero II.  en Wed, 22 May 2013 01:12:39 GMT Wed, 22 May 2013 01:12:39 GMT Rev9 Re: Guitar Hero II: I take a trip to Red Octane for info. on the Sequel.
Like you, I'm totally psyched that it's coming to the 360.  It's not really necessary for the graphics...but a modern wireless guitar and downloadable tracks...that is awesome.  Have you seen some of the custom guitars that will be available when it launches?  They look amazing.  It opens up a whole new market for custom gaming peripherals.

Great segment, Tina.  Your interview with John Tam was enjoyable, as are most of the interviews you do.  I know you don't enjoy flying so thanks for taking the time to travel all over the country for us in pursuit of game details.  I certainly appreciate it. Smiley
