Wow, I thought I could wait to get my Xbox 360 for my birthday in late July. Buy with all the updates to the dashboard and the new and greater games coming out, it's getting pretty damn hard to wait!

My biggest problem with the 360 dashboard was not being able to do other things while downloading. That's fixed, and I'm grateful. Being able to que downloads is awesome too. Great job. Now if they can just get Street Fighter 2 out on Live Arcade!!!

I've loved the Xbox 360 dashboard so far, but these changes fix pretty much all of my complaints with it. Can't wait for it. I heard the release is Friday...any confirmation?

These few changes are just what the Dashboard interface has been needing and kudos to Microsoft for listening to it's user base for the 360. And the sooner it is released the better...

Well, it's about time! I've been really dissapointed with the 360 as a whole so far, and the dashboard never helped. Yes, the downloading and playback limitations have been corrected, thankfully, but what about some of the menu bugs. When I select a trailer or video and go to play it from any other menu, the dashboard just redirects me to either the trailer or video menu and doesn't even highlight the media I was just looking at...has that been corrected? Also, their is entirely too much dependance on Windows Media Center for downloading media onto the 360. What are those of us who don't use windows supposed to do. I have several of the "G4TV.com Cutscene Theatres" saved on my computer and even my PSP, but no way to put them on Microsoft's big white elephant.

Do you have an iPod? That's one way to get unprotected (no DRM) media to play on your XBox.
yes, I have a forth generation iPod. It does not play videos and it is formatted for mac, not windows, so the 360 cannot read it. I seriously wish Microsoft would abandon its ambitions for global conquest and support open source memory formats. If that were the case, then we could simply plug a usb memory stick into the 360 and copy what we wanted off of it, videos and all. That, however, would make entirely too much sence.

I second this Adam! This would be a nice feature for sure - just like having wallpaper for your desktop PC. You can set an image now for a background, but it is the same for all of the blades, plus more customization in general would be better overall.

Connecting your Ipod to the xbox is the way to go. Too bad it will only recognize 100 songs from your playlist though. or have they fixed this?
new dashboard is cool btw. Great show!

Seeing loads of reviews up, this one was pretty hot.

Just need it now ^ ^
Hype and time is a mans worst enemy

Fast forward or memory for audio tracks. Maybe I'm in the minority but I listen to podcast while playing oblivion. If the xbox crashes or for whatever reason the track stops I'm screwed and have to restart from the beginning. It of course always happen at minute 45 of an hour.
