The gamerscore blog guys chat it up again this week.  With what's happening in the land of xbox.  Lots of games to talk about like Shadowrun of course which is still being pretty highly played.  They dive into The Darkness.  John's niece was in town so they went old school with some Guitar Hero II.  Tony tried out WarTech and Call of Juarez and gives his thoughts.  And Michael just wants to play Forza 2.  But there's so much more.  Like what we expect from this years E3.  Check out Episode 24 with the Gamerscore blog crew.  And who can't wait for the Transformers movie?

You were invited to attend these...and you've only been in one?  It’s disappointing, because I like to hear your thoughts on this stuff.  I totally understand your reason for staying off camera, but couldn't you chime in from outside?  If you’re working from home, a speakerphone is another option.  In case you haven't noticed...I'm missing you. Sad

I listened to this when it was posted on the Gamerscore Blog.  I wanted to pick up The Darkness last week, but I was busy working and only had time to stop at my local EB, which had sold out.  I ended up getting Harry Potter for the Wii (very enjoyable) and Overlord.  Overlord is great; it takes the visual style of Fable and the play style of something like Pikman.  It's a lot of fun to slaughter innocents and lay waste to land...just plain be a bad guy...but you have to moderate the innocents you kill, so there is some judgment involved in how much of tyrant you play.  Forza 2 is finally starting to get a little tiresome for me.

E3 will be full of surprises this year.  Last year it was all about new hardware with the Wii and PS3 launching...but now it's all about the games, and beside the big titles we're all waiting for, there are many titles coming most of us don't know about.  Developers have been busy experimenting with all this new hardware, so there is bound to be great stuff.  I'm stoked; I just wish I could actually attend some of the press conferences or Microsoft parties.  I'll get there eventually.

...and yeah, Transformers looks amazing.  I'm going to the premiere tomorrow!  Optimus Prime is teh robot!

I'm playing through The Darkness right now. It's awesome. It's like Max Payne meets Prey, New York film noir but with DEMONS! Smiley Love the interaction between the characters, very unique game. Can't wait for August and September when the gaming 'splosion happens, Stranglehold, Bioshock, Halo, Mass Effect, and a partridge and a pear tree....

Transformers was SWEET!!!  Perhaps too visually saturated in places, but otherwise very sweet.  Loved all the Air Force tie-ins...even if they were a little far-fetched at times.

There were 2 things I absolutely had to bring up here.  The first and most important was the AllSpark created Xbox 360 decepticon.  That was great, but it makes me wonder if the AllSpark only creates decepticons.

Second, who else loved some of the eighties cartoon tie-ins that popped up throughout the film?  C'mon...there were at least 3 My Little Pony references there?  Ooooo, are you a pony?  Ha - I still love it!  Hehe.
