Adding some value labels to the pie charts would be a good excersice for the viewer.
This is beyond what users can do for themselves and is no where as easy as other solutions
This is horrible. Look how complicated this is! Was that CODE!?!?!?!
Seriously, Business users can't do this. I don't want to have to get IT involved just to make a dashboard. Look how long it took the EXPERT to make a gauge.
Microsoft is WAY behind here.
@Imonstrous: CRM 2011 now has USER configurable, real-time charts and dashboards in both the Web client and the Outlook client for both on-premises and online deployments.
Looks like they just WAY overtook everyone.

When I attempt to override my existing CRM report, this method does not work. The old report still remains, and is rendered even after I upload my RDL file. Thoughts?

Did you re-try "Make Report Available to Organisation" and "Publish Report for External Use" after importing your new report? Can you access the report url from a browser, without CRM?
You guys are joking right? Users creating their own dash boards? Ours can't create an advanced find so it doesn't matter whats available in other solutions. I'd be creating it no matter what and we already own SSRS.
