This screencast covers building and publishing scorecards with
PerformancePoint.
This screencast is the first in a series BI Developer screencasts recorded as part of a workshop built on SQL Server 2005 that have been delivered around the globe by Microsoft and Microsoft Partners. This training event takes the student through the Microsoft BI Platform giving a BI Developer the introduction and basic comfort needed to tackle a BI project using Microsoft technology.
If you missed the first screencast in this series I highly recommend that you watch it first as it provides a great overview of Microsoft BI technology. Additional screencasts will be published under the "SQL+Server" so subscribe to it now!

We are really interested in your feedback on Building a PerformancePoint Scorecard.
What would you like to see done differently?
What do you think worked well?

The changes and updates are significant between CTP1 and the RTM of PPS, so it really needs redoing. Most obvious points: the product name itself, lack of Dashboard objects, filters work differently and the SAP BW connector didn't make the cut for RTM.
That’s a good point… These screencasts were created at different points over the past year. Our training environment is running RTM so I’ll see what we can do.
Thanks for the feedback.
There is apparently an issue with the way these videos are encoded and Silverlight player... You can watch these videos by clicking on the "Downloads" link then selecting "WMV". I'll see what I can do to get this fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Hi,
Thanks for the screencast it helped me a lot for starting up,
what i want is to start creating the Scorecard based on the SQL Table, But the issue is when i created the Datasource and try to add the KPI it is taking me to the retrieval of the MEasures which fails...so i am total stuck with the Scorecard.
PLease help me out with this..
Thanks
