Catching up on my past presentations, the deck from my Streaming Media East presentation about Webcasting with Windows Media. I didn't rate a webcast, apparently, but Sean Alexander's keynote (ably assisted by Jim Thill) did. I encoded the opening video (available here as a 2 Mbps 1280x720 file!) and all the Fox movie trailer clips used in the demo.
Our new v11 codec with the proper registry keys can make a big improvement in compression efficiency for real-time encoding. And of course our forthcoming Live VC-1SDK will offer a very substantial improvement yet in both quality and performance.
