How do I download the videos?

• To download, right click the file type you would like and pick “Save target as…” or “Save link as…”

Which version should I choose?

• If you want to view the video on your PC, Xbox or Media Center, download the High Quality WMV file (this is the highest quality version we have available).
• If you'd like a lower bitrate version, to reduce the download time or cost, then choose the Medium Quality WMV file.
• If you have a Zune, WP7, iPhone, iPad, or iPod device, choose the low or medium MP4 file.
• If you just want to hear the audio of the video, choose the MP3 file.

Lubor Kollar

Lubor Kollar ist seit der SQL Server 6.5-Release 1996 Mitglied der SQL Server-Entwicklungsgruppe. Als Programm-Manager war er verantwortlich für die Entwicklung des relationalen Moduls. Die vermutlich wichtigsten der unzähligen Funktionen, an denen er arbeitete, waren die erste Version der Failover-Clusterunterstützung und die Einführung der Parallelverarbeitung von Abfragen mithilfe von Mehrfach-CPU- und (später) Multi-Core-Computern, wobei er die Notwendigkeit der Ressourcenkontrolle beschrieb, lange bevor sie entwickelt wurde. Bei SQL Server 2005 war er PM für die Tabellen- und Indexpartitionierung, als er kurzzeitig für das GPM der gesamten Engine verantwortlich zeichnete.
Nach der Auslieferung von SQL Server 2005 wechselte Lubor zur Kunden- und Partnergruppe, die aus mehreren kunden- und partnerseitigen Teams bestand. Lubor leitete das Customer Advisory Team (CAT) und gestaltete die weltweit größten, anspruchsvollsten Implementierungen von SQL Servern. 2010 schloss Lubor sich dem SQL Azure Team an. Dort baute er zur Unterstützung der Bereitstellung ausgewählter Anwendungen auf der Azure Plattform ein neues Team aus Programm-Managern und Entwicklern auf. Noch im selben Jahr schloss er den Kreis und ging zurück zum Kernmodul-Entwicklungsteam. Dort leitete er ein Team von Programm-Managern, das für die Abfragen-Optimierung und -Ausführung, das Data Warehousing und die horizontale Skalierung zuständig war.
