How do I download the videos?

• To download, right click the file type you would like and pick “Save target as…” or “Save link as…”

Which version should I choose?

• If you want to view the video on your PC, Xbox or Media Center, download the High Quality WMV file (this is the highest quality version we have available).
• If you'd like a lower bitrate version, to reduce the download time or cost, then choose the Medium Quality WMV file.
• If you have a Zune, WP7, iPhone, iPad, or iPod device, choose the low or medium MP4 file.
• If you just want to hear the audio of the video, choose the MP3 file.

Robert Bruckner

Robert Bruckner ist Principal Developer bei der Microsoft SQL Server Business Intelligence-Gruppe. Seine Hauptaufgabe ist die Gestaltung und Entwicklung des Verarbeitungsmoduls von Reporting Services, das von Servern und kundeneigenen Komponenten gehostet und vom Projekt "Crescent" genutzt wird. Bei Crescent dreht sich alles um die interaktive Visualisierung von Daten, um rasch analytische Detailinformationen zu erhalten und die Datenanalyse insgesamt ansprechender zu gestalten. Dieses Berichtsprogramm bietet Anwendern Unterstützung bei der Visualisierung ihrer Daten, der einfachen Beantwortung von Ad-hoc-Fragen und der Präsentation und Zusammenarbeit mit anderen.
In seiner Freizeit schreibt Robert ein beliebtes Reporting Services-Blog. Außerdem hat er als Co-Autor an dem Buch "Reporting Services Recipes for Designing Expert Reports" mitgewirkt und arbeitet derzeit unter anderem an zwei SQL Server 2012-Büchern über BI-Semantikmodelle und Crescent, die demnächst erscheinen. Bevor er 2003 zu Microsoft kam, war Robert Systemarchitekt bei T-Mobile Austria, wo er Datenbank- und Business Intelligence-Systeme entwarf und implementierte.
