A Pink Zune For The Cure

The “Warriors in Pink” web site is the home to the Ford Motor Company’s ongoing effort to spread awareness about breast cancer. On the site, you’ll find information about the Race for the Cure, a virtual quilt, screensavers e-cards, and more. In the Warriors in Pink store, there are a number of items to choose from including t-shirts and car decals and 100% of the net proceeds are donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. There’s now a new item in the store: a Limited Edition Zune, in pink of course. The 4 GB Flash Zune is etched with the Warriors in Pink logo on the back and will hold up to 1000 songs, 25,000 pictures, or 12 hours of video. At $175, this Zune seems to be just a tad higher than some of the others you can find on the internet, but you can take comfort in knowing that the purchase of this special edition Zune is going to help a good cause.

I would so get one of there if the Ford logo wasn't etched on back. I'd like to see pink become a naturalized color for the other Zune sizes.

  • I'm with you - I have a deep fondness for pink devices, no matter how cliche that may be. Smiley
