You may have heard the news about Windows 7 being offered to students for the incredibly low price of $30, but if you’re like me, you were probably skeptical as to whether or not that was actually true. Believe it or not, it is!
In case you missed it, the Windows Team blog confirmed this on Thursday via a post which directs college and university students to this site: win741.com. Here, students wanting to buy the new OS can do so for the low price of $29.99.
The offer is currently available to students in the U.S. In the U.K., students can participate starting September 30th and in ustralia, Canada, France, Germany, Korea, and Mexico, the offer will go live on October 22nd.

Que bueno que sea así, precios cómodos para los estudiantes, pero ¿Cuándo estará al alcance de los latinoamericanos (Perú) estas fantásticas ofertas? / That's great. Convenient prices for students, but when those terrific prices will be available in latin-america (I'm from Peru)?
