Attendees at
Web Analytics Day, an annual industry conference held Sept. 14th in Brussels, Belgium, were treated to a 15-minute demo of Microsoft’s upcoming free web analytics tool codenamed
Gatineau.
Ian Thomas, Director at
Microsoft Digital Advertising Solutions, took the stage to highlight some of Gatineau's goals, which include: out-of-the-box demographic segmentation, an integrated view of marketing campaign effectiveness, an integration of conversion value data, and an innovative visualisation of behavioural data.
Blogger Robin Wauters received permission to post the slides from the demo, so you can check them out over at
BlogNation. Gatineau, which is likely to be released in beta later this summer, will let you view reports, manage goals, and manage campaigns once you have set up a profile & added a tracking script to your blog or website.
