Microsoft has teamed up with concert promoter Live Nation to launch Sections 7, a website for finding discount concert tickets, select artist merchandise, and other offers. New users are prompted to register upon their first visit to the site in order to gain access to exclusively offered discounts, daily music deals, and even sweepstakes. Every day the site features new deals and discounts, so it’s worth revisiting on a regular basis.
There’s also a Twitter account, Facebook page, and MySpace page for the new venture if you would rather follow the news using one of those sites instead.

Its an interesting branding/marketing idea. Though I think Zune needed to be affilliated with this too.
