The Channel 9 events area now includes all keynotes from previous Microsoft Professional Developers Conferences or as everyone calls it The PDC! Our archives start with the very first PDC which happened in Seattle in 1991 and go all the way up last fall’s event. We hope you enjoy this look back at history as much as we do.

that is awesome
Why did anyone think glasses needed to be so big?
Awesome!
Cool, my first PDC was 2000 in Florida - few photos on my blog http://rd3d2.wordpress.com
Nice!
My first PDC was 2001 (not listed yet...)
That was a weird one, just a month after 9/11...
very cool !
watching Jim Allchin annoucing WinFX (and the emacs demo) now
maybe the new framework in Win8 based Windows Runtime can be real WinFX now, or WinFX minus .NET FX ?
Thanks!
PDC 2001, is now online here.
This is awesome! Is the site having problems though? PDC 1992 is no longer listed and 1993 has no session content. I was looking forward to seeing the Chicago (Windows 95) kick off!
Cool!
In those days (<2000) Microsoft had a TV show you could pick up on the satellite here in the UK. I remember Steve Balmer talking about Web Services a couple of months(?) before the PDC and it seemed to good to be true, so I decided to take some time off and attend - awesome.
