Michael S. Scherotter just posted on his blog that he adapted the open source
New York Times Silverlight Kit over the weekend to work with the new Windows Phone 7 Series devices. He then created his first WP7S application and included it as a sample app that is in the source code. The kit, now
available here on CodePlex, lets Silverlight developers pull from the NY Times APIs for Articles, Best Sellers (books), the U.S. Congress, Movie Reviews, Community Comments, Times Tags, and more in order to create applications using tools like Visual Studio or Expression Blend. All of the APIs except the Articles and TimesTags APIs are now available for Windows Phone 7 Series. You can download the binaries here:
Version 1.0 for Windows Phone 7 Series.
