The free security software called Microsoft Security Essentials has been updated to a new version, available for download from

here. This anti-malware program now includes several new features like Windows Firewall integration (it asks if you want the firewall on), IE integration (for protection against Web-based threats), an updated protection engine for enhanced detection and
 cleanup, improved performance and a network inspection system for protection against network-based exploits.
