Sync Bookmarks Between PCs

These days, hardly anyone only uses one computer, which is why it's more important than ever to have ways to access your data from anywhere. One way to keep your data synced between computers is by storing your bookmarks online. This can be done with Windows Live Favorites, which offers you a way to access your favorite websites from any computer connected to the internet by going to favorites.live.com and signing in. However, for an even easier way to access and sync your bookmarks, you can add the Windows Live Favorites button to the Windows Live Toolbar. The Live Toolbar has many great features like better protection against phishing scams & viruses, integrated desktop search, and tons of custom buttons that can be downloaded from the Windows Live Gallery.

To add the Windows Live Favorites button to the Live Toolbar, go to "Toolbar Options" and select "Install Buttons". Scroll down until you find the Windows Live Favorites button and then click the link to download and install.  While you're at it, add the Windows Live Favorites Bookmarklet to your IE7 Links toolbar. With the bookmarklet installed, when you find a page you like, just click on the "QuickAdd for Windows Live Favorites" link in your toolbar, and save the page to your favorites.
