Whilst Kinect may well be the coolest accessory for your Xbox 360 at the moment, did you know that you can now buy accessories for that accessory? For those struggling to place the Kinect sensor in just the right spot to maximise the play area, a company called PDP has launched a series of approved mounts for the product.
Why do you need a mount? Well, if you have a wall mounted TV, then the Kinect Wall Mount will allow the Kinect to slot into place just under the display, ideal for game time. For mounting Kinect above your set, PDP’s TV Mount supports VESA spec HDTVs from 26 to 60 inches. Or opt instead for a floor stand to keep the sensor away from dirt (and of course, the odd kick).
If your living room is short on horizontal surfaces, then don’t worry, you can still be the controller too.

I've got the VESA one on order... should increase the play area a few inches and let me stand a bit farther from the couch!
