Earlier this week,
Windows Live Quick Apps were introduced, showing the ability of the Windows Live Platform. Quick Apps are customizable, out-of-the box solutions for specific web scenarios built on Windows Live services. As opposed to using a traditional content management system for your web application, these are mashups based on Windows Live services where
all the content for the site is stored "in the cloud," whether that is in Spaces, Contacts, Expo or The Silverlight Streaming Service.
The
Codeplex website has made the code for two sample apps,
Contoso bicycle club and
Contoso University,
available for free from their site and they say more samples will be available soon. You can customize the code to your liking to build your own web application.
