The Windows 7 Family Pack, which allows you to install the new OS on three home PCs for a discounted price, is now available for purchase from multiple online retailers including eCost.com and Provantage for the low price of $146.99 and $140.31, respectively. These deals come much sooner than anticipated. Originally, it was reported that the Family Pack was not going to be available for pre-order until October 18th and then would become publicly available on October 22nd, the official release day for Windows 7.
Another change to the Family Pack was also announced earlier last week. Previously, this licensing pack was only going to be offered in North America, but that’s now been expanded to include eight other countries in Europe – the U.K., Ireland, Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, the Netherlands and Sweden.
Of course, if you only need a single license, you can order that now from a number of online retailers including Amazon and the Microsoft Store.
