Brian Gorbett recently posted about his new Mesh-enabled application that he's now made available – a Windows Live Mesh video player. The video player is based on the Silverlight video player available on Codeplex, with one big difference –it’s been meshified! You can download the source code from Brian’s web site. What’s even better though, is that he has just updated his original post with a link that lets you install the player into your CTP Mesh without having to download the source.
Because the CTP (or developer version) of Mesh is not as widely available as the Beta version, John Mullinax has posted a few screenshots of what adding an app to your Mesh actually looks like.
He also shows how the Mesh Video Player behaves after installation. For example, when you click the “First Mesh Video Player” link, you get information about the app, a filtered news feed about what you’ve done with the app, and a list of the permissions it has.
You can find more sample Mesh applications at www.MicrosoftMeshPack.com.
