And for those of you who notice... yes, this was widescreen and yes I cropped it down, but this actually made the in-game footage fill the screen (it was 4:3 in the original video) so I thought it was a better overall result ![]()
And if you really want the highest quality... you can grab the 6Mbps original as well, 640x360

I watched this the other day. It rules. I like the brutality of it... no pun intended. Halo 3 is looking like it's going to be darker and the brief glimpses of gameplay looked really sleak. Humans and the Elites are going to unite to fight the Brutes... watch it happen!

UNSC Marines+Elites VS Tooled up Brutes+Grunts
Just sounds too one-sided. That and it also sounds boring.
I'm the last person who should mention tacking on the flood again, just as they were tacked on to the end of both previous titles, but I'd actually like to see them added on with about 700% more animations and much improved AI. Not to mention purpose in the story other than filler.
I can't really say I'm impressed at all with the Alpha, with supposedly unbiased voices from 1up gushing over its graphics being 'nearly complete' I can only weep for the end product.. if Bungie agrees with them that the Alpha is 'nearly complete' or 'complete enough' to ship [Gears]. Which is where I'd want Bungie delaying Halo 3 another year (from end of november 2007) to avoid shipping another tragedy like Epics Gears of War, as much as it would pain me to have to wait that much longer for a Halo game, or any 360 game for that matter that would make 360 at long last a worthy purchase (it's been gathering dust mostly since launch). Hoping that the extra year of delay would mean Halo 3 as an HDDVD title, and 'How the hell did this not get found before gold'+'Fire the whole team we'd be better off with trained monkeys-bug free, unlike Gears which is neither.
