I've watched video quite a bit on my Treo (ripped DVDs onto my SD card) but I think the Origami could bring portable computing to the masses... (if they beat the 2 hour battery life and bring the price point down).

Well, I watched this through once, and it was informative. And then, playing around, I figured out that if you right click on the video and choose Play Speed: Fast, you can watch through it again and its really funny. 'Cause Duncan still sounds like he's talking at a normal speed, but Tina is a Starbucks commercial.

Thanks for the 10 Podcast location. It was a real headache searching the itunes directory for it with only "10".
Sony really missed a huge opportunity to expand the PSP's market without some streaming interface software. While there are some great freeware applications that can do it for us, the best actually come with a price. I, myself, prefer PSPware.
On another note, its great to see Tina daily!

I´m a compulsive gadget enthusiast, so that was quite interesting. Still not sure about which is the best media device out there.... so it´s cool to see upcoming products. Is Tatung a major brand? I´ve never heard of them, but that player looked interesting.

I like Duncan´s style; straightforward and easy to understand. I´d like to see a bit more humour, to counterpart Tina´s loveable buzziness, and maybe a bit more eye contact.
Keep up the great work.

Ive seen that XBox 360 Book for dummies around thats sweet, definitely a good buy from someone just getting into Xbox 360, there are just so many features the average casual gamer would not know about.

Oh by the way Duncan when you are done with that Portable Media Center , Send it my way.

I really enjoyed todays episode. I have been thinking of getting a new media player when I get some money. This really helped.

I think Tina prefers when you look at her or at least that is what I sensed... but either way, great job! I think you two could make a great team.

Agreed. When I sent in a problem with my profile, Duncan personally got back to me within hours. That's dedication and customer service, nice!

is how to put movies on your cell phone. Sure, the screen's small, but you don't need a separate device to watch your favorite DVD/show. Pop a 1GB memory card in your phone, convert a movie or a wmv file to 3g2 and you're all set.

That is pretty sweet to see the future generation of Windows Portable Media Devices. I bet you folks have some pretty slick video processing export scripts to format the video for the different formats that you serve. Here is to hoping that Sony updates the PSP video support to handle more normally named video files or H.264 codec off the Memory Stick.

Vongo is PC only and it is a crying shame because I would love to try something like that on my iBook. I usually rip and encode my own DVDs for my iPod since I am mostly a Mac head.

This is exactly why bad DRM makes my skin crawl. When DRM is done right you are never supposed to notice that it is there.

I recommend using iPod video converter to master the MP4.
Then you must take the MP4 file and remux it through YAMB.

I gurantee alot of you will be picking this up tonight and tommorow.
I got my collectors edition for Xbox 360, Boy is it quality ! I did not think it would be worth the 10 extra dollars.
Hey Tina you playing it??
I know Laura is not, she is getting married to elvis in vegas.

I'll get the game, tomorrow. I stopped by the Gamestop in Redmond, today and they weren't selling the game, yet.
Right now, I'm playing G.R.A.W. (for those who don't know, Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter).

Very excited
Duncan its really amazing i got my first achievement a few minutes ago. Im already hooked into the story.
Im not going to give any spoilers but its good...
I went with these 3 branches to develope my character.
Nord (humans)
The Steed (for Speed Bonuses)
Rogue (for Combat and Speed)
Its going to be a long game so i figured the quicker the character the better.

Your'e right...Vegas isn't fun...when you're losing money =(
As for the cafeteria-special, I recommend either, packing a lunch, or at least make a stop at Subway, or Taco Bell.
I still can't believe you and Laura are now in Redmond! So, surreal. I'm probably working not too far away from your building! We have to meet, sometime soon. Lunch is on me (if the cafeteria special isn't unexciting).

I'm sure the EB Games in Sammamish will have a bunch of copies (not very many people go there).
Exciting times, indeed.
P.S.-Yeah, I hate the supposed release dates of the games (it's always the day after they date they say it will be out).

Hey! I've noticed that you're all smarter than me.
My Norton antivirus is expired, and I was wondering if I should plop down the $40 to renew, or if there is some freeware out there that you all reccomend...?

I'll definitely pick it up today or tomorrow, the PC version, that is. Too bad I won't have a lot of time to play this week. Can't wait to see how it looks on my new 20" widescreen monitor.

I'm sorry you didn't get to go to Vegas, but thank you for the instructions and demo on how to get video to the PSP. I have been trying to figure that out since I got it. Thank you.

Okay, so I'm fairly familiar with using PSP Video9 already, but when I saw you offered a PSP download version of your videos, I thought I'd simply be able to copy it to the relevant video folder on my PSP without using any additional software and it would play straightaway, especially as its naming implies it's already in PSP format. Unfortunately my PSP doesn't recognise the video (and I've tried both video folders on the device). So, do I need to use PSP Video9 after all, or am I just doing something stupid? It would be nice to have some sort of FAQ on the site explaining the various types of download etc.

I really need to go find out if I can get an English language version here in Germany, because I won't be home for about another 4 months yet and I don't know if I can wait that long.
Btw, Duncan, I just wanted to say thankyou for all the articles on msdn and all the helpful forum posts on GotDotNet. You've been a big help over the past few years.
