Great show today folks. FYI, the Nike hear rate monitors work just as well as the Pulsars and they work well with just about all equipment in the most popular gyms like golds, 24 hour fitness etc...
I should bust out the old track and field game for the nintendo and see how many calories i can burn. lol.

Seriously though, I'd be interested in knowing how many folks have tried working out while playing Xbox... I know at least one person who has had great success doing that, but it has never worked out for me.
5 days or so since I've played Xbox myself, I'm out of town at my Mom's ... and I'm on dial-up... withdrawl from all of my standard sources of entertainment!
Laura? Tina? Come on guys!! I luv u girls dearly...expecially the beautiful, sexy, and talented Laura Foy. I fell in luv with you since JudgeCal. But, why in the world did you guys stickwit a show on the internet instead of starting a new show on the G4TV network?
But, besides that isolated thought, I watched your Sweaty Techie show and it was allllright.....I would like yall better on G4TV.com better.

...well, I do anyway. I love these tech demos you cover, Duncan. I learned quite a bit when you covered portable media and I learned a great deal today. I didn't know they made heart rate transmitters that synced to the equiptment we're using. That's awesome...now I have to go and buy one for my after class workout. Good stuff.

Tina needs to wear her hair up in a ponytail on camera more often. It looked good for the half second I saw.

Laura,
You're fidgeting with your scarf. What's on your mind, girl?
Anyway, I thought Techies only sweat on Microsoft Security Bulletin Tuesdays...
I wonder if these heart monitors have a DDR setting.

Why not? Internet webcasts reach more people around the globe and provide opportunities that failing cable networks do not. Sadly, G4 is rapidly changing direction to appeal to a much broader demographic. In doing so, it's no longer a gamer channel. Laura and Tina are very talented and entertaining. They deserve better. Besides...now we can see them daily!

I like how you've loved her since JudgeCal which was an Internet show, then G4TV.com which was a show that revolved around the Internet, then complain about how she's on an Internet show. Adorable.

Yes...more than likely in our end of April release. You will be able to edit your posts as long as nobody has posted a comment in reply to yours.
Duncan rocks, he is the Highlander of Gadgets.

Arztek and LiquidBlues have pretty much covered what I was going to say, but I would like to add that shows on the internet could be the way of the future. We live in a day and time where we can buy episodes of shows off of itunes so it really becomes a convience. Besides the internet gives a way for a show to find an audience rather then being lost in the shuffle of a network.

Having an Internet show allows them to bring their content directly to their fan base. If you ask me its embarrassing to even been seen on G4tv nowadays.

we like it here.
Now now, you know what they say about burning bridges...
I give X-Play and AOTS 3-4 months, tops. Poor Morgan, what will she do next? At least Sessler can teach philosophy or something like that. Kevin P, street hooker, no question.
Other than that, you're absolutely right, of course

Actually, am I the only that gets soothed by his voice or am I really strange?
Seriously though, Duncan would have my attention even if he was talking about the flakyness of dry paint. Well... I´d at least listen. Cool stuff, you are quite the contrast to T&L.

Ok, I´m going to think about excercising for a few seconds now.

I know what you are saying! Can I use the "I don't really have time to Workout" excuse! I know, I know 20 minutes a day is all you need...

I'm sure Oblivion is keeping (some) people away from exercising (as well as possibly, keeping them away from the Sun, family, food and possibly, even work/school).
Actually, I think excerising, while playing FPS games (especially, online-multiplayer games) would really be interesting, because of the fast movements/reflexes involved. Playing Halo 2 on a treadmill...talk about a challenge.
Or instead of being on a treadmill, for example, just play DDR, or Yourself Fitness.

Yes, I know I made a grammar mistake in my comment.
What I meant to say:
Try Playing a FPS on a treadmill!
Angela, thanks for the editing comments suggestion. I sure could use the editing feature.

Hmmm. Actually, I don't find his voice particularly soothing...so maybe it's just you. I like his segments, but I'll skip the one on paint flakyness. That's just a little too strange for me.

I love the fact that its an internet show because I can watch it whenever I want. Besides G4 has really gone downhill. the only decent shows left are Xplay and until recently AOTS. Cant watch it without Sarah and Brendan.

Anyone else running one? I currently can't expand any of the comments on my Intel Mac as well as view any of the videos.

Nope... although if your having a problem expanding comments you wouldn't be able to read mine... =)
Well just in case, I have a windows XP box running the latest incarnation of IE (i think) and have noticed that if you don't wait for all the objects to load on the page and click on a topic or scroll down. the video gets off centered and you are only able to open only a few comments before the page just ends up hanging on you. At that point i usually go to a different site and come back and it usually seems to resolve the issue (as long as i wait for it to completely load.) Also hitting refresh or ctrl+F5 once it's in the state of suspended animation doesn't seem to work. Funny how this is a MS site yet you can browse it better on FF than on IE... but then again it could just be my setup. who knows

I basically view the site on my xp machine. I guess this site doesn't support Safari?
p.s. when's the message board going to be available?

You don't know how tempted I was to put you lifting up your shirt as the preview image for the video.
Ah, yes, correct. Unfortunately, the version of Atlas we used didn't yet have full support for Safari so the site will come up, but none of the XmlHttpRequests used for the AJAX calls will work (expanding comments, etc). We plan on putting in the newest version of Atlas, which should work in Safari in our end of April release. The same goes for forums (very end of April).
