That was fun. Thanks for posting that.
Penny Arcade has really become a big force in the world of gaming and the Internet. These guys have really created something that is very fun and entertaining. I'm looking forward to buying the next volume of the collected works books.
I'm also glad to see that PAX has become such a success and with E3 now being diminished, you gotta figure PAX could fill part of that void. Also, I'm just glad to see more of this kind of stuff in the Seattle area!
If you are a fan of their comics and you've never listened to one of their podcasts, I recommend that you do. I found it very amusing to listen to the creative train of thought process that goes into creating a strip. Good times.

Couple of questions for everyone checking out this video...
I figured PA would be a good video for on10.net, because I thought a lot of our viewers would be fans... so... are you? Do you like their stuff?
I heard a rumour that there would be a big annoucement of some sort at PAX; I truly have no insider info on this, so I'm open to guesses as to what they'll annouce. An animated show? A 360 game, maybe Arcade? What do you folks think?
I've heard of some news related to them that probably isn't released, but I won't spill it yet.
Maybe they're coming out with a line of Penny Arcade themed underoos?
Ooh, ooh...maybe it's PENNY ARCADE the RPG (D20 Table Top game)?
Or maybe they've teamed up with WizKids and are coming out with Penny ArcadeClix the collectible miniatures game!
God, I hope it's not Penny Arcade Pogs.
...
A cartoon could be the coolest or worst thing to happen to the brand. As long as they have creative control, I'd be cautiously optimistic. It might work on Adult Swim. I guess most people would assume it would be good for the G4 network, but I dunno...

Heck yeah, we're fans. They're hilarious.

Haha - that was awesome, Laura. They were so giggly, standing next to you. And that's what you GET, for being so hot! There are whole sections of the population that you just can't interact with, because you're too far outside our comfort zone.
Like if Elvis stopped for directions at a bingo parlor - sure, the old ladies would be happy to see him, but I doubt he'd be able to get much useful information out of them. After signing some autographs, he'd have to wander off, still lost.
I bet a funny looking interviewer could have gotten germane, whole-sentence answers out of Jerry, but all you could do was reduce him to a blushing mess. What a curse!

Thanks for the video, but why is the audio all on the left channel?

I'm a big fan of Penny Arcade. Not just because of their comic, but because a couple of guys who are able to make their living off of their webcomic I feel is a huge inspiration to anyone who produces this or pretty much any type of work online.

What format were you viewing the video in and on what device (IE, Firefox, PSP, iPod, cell phone)?
I'm tweaking some of our compression and I want to make sure I'm not missing something.

Attention nerds (Waltar Crespo and bootstrap): good lord, please stop using comments to hit on the video game interviewer who doesn't seem very interested in video games.
Also, this site design is quite pretty but renders the comments totally unfunctional in firefox

Yeah, great to see a video of these guys. I also agree with the guy who said about listening to their podcasts. I wish they had continued them regularly. Hopefully we'll see another one in the near future.

After looking into this it looks like the source file only had audio from that channel. I'll talk to the right people and make sure that doesn't happen again
I'm suddenly kind of annoyed that I can't send private messages on this site.

Cool, thanks. Hope I'm one of the first three to reply.

A videogame interviewer who's not very interested in video games? The person interviewing them is Laura Foy, who co-created G4TV.Com, a weekly one hour show about video games!
