Walt Ritscher's enthusiasm for crafting software interfaces blossomed early, first surfacing while coding on a borrowed Apple computer. Now he travels the world speaking at software conferences and teaching a diverse portfolio of programming topics. On the consulting side, he works with customers like Microsoft HP, Intel, and Intuit and enjoys being part of the Wintellect consultant group. He writes for several publications, including CODE Magazine, TechTarget and is featured as the Silverlight video author for www.Lynda.com.

His current UI obsession includes Microsoft Silverlight, Windows Phone 7 and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) APIs. His blog can be found at http://blog.wpfwonderland.com/. Walt is also a MVP and the author of the free Shazzam Shader Editor.
