In this interview, Xiaoying Guo, a Program Manager on the SharePoint tools team, shows us some of the new tools in Visual Studio for developing SharePoint 2010 & 2013 Apps and solutions. New tools include building Visual Web Parts for sandbox solutions, remote deployment of packages, and a list designer as well as new templates for building SharePoint 2013 apps. I'm a newbie to the new apps model, but Xiaoying helps me understand the differences as well as the flexibility this new model brings. For more information on SharePoint tools in Visual Studio 2012 see the MSDN Library. To get started building apps for SharePoint 2013 see http://dev.office.com and the MSDN Library topic: SharePoint 2013. Enjoy,-Beth Massi, Visual Studio Community

Every successful organization is backed by a highly-potential team of employees who work together by combining their skills, capabilities and experience to produce the best solution. In order to work together, the employees must have full understanding about the strategy so that they can utilize the resources in an efficient manner. Hence, it is essential to spread transparency within an organization for improving the output level to a great extent.

http://www.sharepointengine.com/
posted by Johana Miller

It can become a bit annoying and frustrating even though the girl from Shanghai does her best trying to explain by her heavy 'Chinese accent' the new Sharepoint highlights. Beth Massi does a excellent job repeating what is actually being said in a understandable way. Thanks Beth Massi for your support on this.
posted by PeterGR
