As the Windows team marches toward the release of Vista, the team’s progress naturally creeps out into the public domain. Not many organizations can keep a good thing secret for long, and with as many people as Microsoft employs there’s bound to be those who want to share the news with everyone.
On the other hand, sometimes there are elements of a product launch that don’t merit their own press release. These little bits (like the Vista retail packaging here) are like hidden treasure to a geek. The new software icons and Vista and Office packaging have all been collected for your reading pleasure.

ok, i could care less about the package that it comes in. what i really want to know is whats the difference between Vista Home Basic, Vista Home Premium, Vista Business, and Vista Ultimate. if you guys could help me dig this information up it would be awsome.
Yeah, that's true, it is nice packaging though, but like you, i want to know what package is best suited to my needs. LS:) thanks for the link
I can not WAIT!!!
While I haven't yet found the complete list I can speak to me own findings. Having installed beta builds of Ultimate and Enterprise, I can say that Enterprise doesn't include Solitaire
Is it true that you can't upgrade XP to Vista Ultimate?
There is a programme which you can run that scans your PC to tell you which version best suits you, look at the Microsoft Vista site. :)LS
