With the launch of the new
R3 version of Microsoft Robotics Developer Studio I sat down to talk
about the product with Trevor Taylor, Program Manager with the
Microsoft Robotics product group.
Microsoft Robotics combines a number of components to make up a robotics system including Concurrency and Coordination Runtime (CCR), Decentralized Software Services (DSS), Visual Programming Language (VPL) and a Visual Simulation Environment (VSE).
If your robotic interests go beyond creating hobbyist robots and onto .NET based robotics then spend a few moments to get an update from Trevor and also learn how a group of students from the
University
Of Michigan worked with
Ford and Microsoft Robotics to add a custom application platform to the car and build the next generation of in car applications.
You can find additional code samples at

Enjoy the show!
