  • Very well done video for testing.  In the next one can you cover how to create Tests?  Is this a tool Microsoft uses internally to test Windows, Office, Visual Studio, .NET Framework, etc?

Also, I noticed the expander control, I'm guessing it's written in WPF?

  • Hi Chris,

We use this to test Visual Studio, but since it is a first version it is not yet used by other divisions at Microsoft. We have several early adopters in our IT groups, and various other teams checking it out and beginning to use it.

Yes, it is written in WPF, although there are several WinForms controls loaded in a few places, most notably UI that was brought in from the Team Foundation Client like the query editor.

    Cheers,

    David
