How do I download the videos?
- To download, right click the file type you would like and pick “Save target as…” or “Save link as…”
Why should I download videos from Channel9?
- It's an easy way to save the videos you like locally.
- You can save the videos in order to watch them offline.
- If all you want is to hear the audio, you can download the MP3!
Which version should I choose?
- If you want to view the video on your PC, Xbox or Media Center, download the High Quality WMV file (this is the highest quality version we have available).
- If you'd like a lower bitrate version, to reduce the download time or cost, then choose the Medium Quality WMV file.
- If you have a Zune, WP7, iPhone, iPad, or iPod device, choose the low or medium MP4 file.
- If you just want to hear the audio of the video, choose the MP3 file.
Right click “Save as…”
- High Quality WMV (PC, Xbox, MCE)
- MP3 (Audio only)
- MP4 (iPod, Zune HD)
- Mid Quality WMV (Lo-band, Mobile)
FAST Search for SharePoint 2010 provides new capabilities for building rich “conversational” user experiences on websites. This session will drill into these unique capabilities, including; customizable content processing, automatic entity extraction, configurable relevance ranking, user context and more. We will also take a look at the differences with SharePoint Search and the alternative with FAST Search for Internet Sites.
This session is presented by David Columbo and Hilde Rietveld.
Born in 1971 in Italy, David graduated in engineer at Polytechnic di Milano in 1996 and after a short experience as freelance, joined Microsoft in February 1998 as a consultant and worked for seven years in MCS. He has worked on SharePoint technologies since 2001, with the first version "TAHOE" of SharePoint Portal 2001 and later with 2003 version, for some top Microsoft Italian’s customers. From 2005 to June 2010, David worked as Technical Pre-Sales for Enterprise Market on Portal and Collaboration solutions participating. In June 2010 he joined the Digital Marketing Platform Group as TSP on SharePoint 2010 for Internet and Fast for SharePoint products.
David lives near Milan, is married, and has two sons, Roberto (4) and Lorenzo (2). Some of his interests: photography, ski, and diving.
Hilde was born in 1971 in The Netherlands, studied at the Graphic School and graduated from the HEAO with Communications as specialization in 1998. After some short job experiences, she joined Be Value in 2001 and worked there for seven years as sales for custom development projects being responsible for the relations with Wolters Kluwer a.o. In February 2008, Hilde joined FAST and worked as Solution Sales covering the BeNeLux. Since July 2010 she is part of the Digital Marketing Platform Group as SSP for SharePoint 2010 for Internet and Fast for SharePoint products.
