Come and learn about the new and improved Web Content Management features for building public facing websites and intranets. This session will discuss the new publishing infrastructure, the improved Content Query Web Part and how to take advantage of the Managed Metadata Service Application for defining and managing taxonomies. Not only can SharePoint websites be XHTML compliant, but they also have the ability to show rich media like streaming.
This session was presented by Donald Hessing during SharePoint Connections 2010 in Amsterdam.
Donald Hessing is Lead SharePoint Architect at VX Company IT Services, a software company based in The Netherlands. His expertise ranges from SharePoint, ASP.NET, Silverlight, SQL Server to service orientation. As the Lead SharePoint Architect he was responsible for several large custom SharePoint implementations with Silverlight, workflow and backend services.
