Progressive

Traditional buffered video format. Silverlight 5 required

IE9+, Firefox 4+, Chrome 5+, or Safari 4+.

Flash

For browsers that have the Adobe Flash Player plugin installed.

I can't hear a thing on the silverlight player. But WMV format is great.

Sound is working fine now. There were problems with the embedded Silverlight player yesterday (I noticed it on other videos across C9). This is a high-bandwidth stream intended for watching full-screen. If you find it's doing a lot of buffering I'd suggest you grab the download high-bandwidth version via the "Formats" link.

This isn't a good demo of Silverlight's adaptative streaming, the stream keeps stopping and buffering...

Video quality played online is stunningly sharp when fullscreen. Sound quality is very clear.

This video doesn't use adaptive streaming - it's a straightforward high bitrate stream. You have the option to access a lower bitrate / alternative format from the dropdown below the video. To see a great demo os Smooth Streaming, try http://www.iis.net/media/experiencesmoothstreaming
