A set of short screencasts providing a "tour" of the network capabilites in the Silverlight 4 beta. We'll look at raw HTTP access, socket access and WCF capabilities.
In this video, we take a look at using HTTP methods beyond GET/POST and introduce the idea of the other HTTP networking stack.
The next video in this series is here and the previous videos are;
Part 1 - WebClient and HTTP GET, XML
Part 2 - WebClient and HTTP GET, RSS, ATOM, JSON
Part 3 - WebClient, HttWebpRequest and HTTP POST

I am really liking this series so far - I watched the first 4 videos yesterday, this one today, and am looking forward to any more you will be doing on this topic.
If Silverlight 4 Beta was supported for VS2010 RC, I would be following along, but alas.
illuminus,
Thanks for the feedback - much appreciated. I take your point about VS2010 RC - I'm in the same place myself and have stuck with the beta for the moment. Hopefully, this will get sorted out soon
By the way - there's around another 6 of these videos to publish yet, working my way through and will publish 1 or 2 a day for the next few days.
Mike.
i like these videos . do you have some videos and tutos , about Channel Model in WCF.
(excusez l'anglais , je suis français).

i have a question ,
i would like use WCF4 (Channel object model) , and WF4 , in order to build , a custom transaction object (an activity). and use it with a workflow (scheduled workflow IHE , for example).
do you have an idea for this ?
Jean-luc
